A new documentary “Fentanyl Unlimited,” which opens in select theaters, including San Antonio, on Tuesday, puts the spotlight on this deadly epidemic and the dangers of fentanyl.
Director Charlie Minn got a first hand look at what fentanyl is doing to America and the families it is destroying. But what makes fentanyl so unique?
“Fentanyl is the deadliest drug. It is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times more than morphine. What’s so different about fentanyl is that you can’t see it, taste it or smell it. It is unsuspecting to a lot of users. The majority of the fentanyl users don’t know that they’re taking it. It is being laced in what they are taking, like in counterfeit pills we are seeing all over the streets And I don’t see this getting any better, in fact, it’s getting much worse The amount of deaths are skyrocketing.”Charlie Minn, Director, Fentanyl Unlimited
